Do you think I should take this medication while pregnant?
I'm 13 weeks pregnant and i have extreme migraines. I've always had migraines but since becoming pregnant i get it more often. My OBGYN prescribed me some medications. ON Sunday morning I went to fill my prescription along with my prenatal medication, and the pharmacist was very hesitant about given me the medication. He told me this medication is part of the FDA pregnancy risk Category C. There's been reports of babies being born with physical abnormalities. Women who've taking this medication during their 3rd trimester have had infants who had seizures due to the withdrawal and they get ventilatory depression. He really didnt want me to take the medicine. I didn't take it. I called my doctor today and he said it was fine. I don't even know what to do. The medicine contains acetaminophen, butalbital and caffeine.
I'm sure your doctor took your pregnancy into account when prescribing. Who would you trust more, someone who has been through several years of medical school and residencies or someone who spent 4 years in pharmacy school? If you're still concerned you should ask your doctor about specific worries you have, or get a second opinion from another OB/GYN.

Chapters will include the latest procedures and most advanced technology. They will cover the parameters used to observe fetal well-being and deal with abnormal findings, regardless of the stage of development. Topics will extend through the delivery and post delivery periods.
I am 18 weeks pregnant and I am stationed in Europe. In two weeks I am flying back to the states and I am scared of the international flight. What I am most afraid of is how my body will react. I've been getting severe heartburn and I never know when I have to go to the bathroom. I'm also worried about getting dehydrated. For those who have done an international flight while pregnant (especially recently with all these rules on what you can't take past the gates), how did you cope? What did you snack on when you had heartburn? Tums alone don't always work for me. What did you do about the bathroom issues? What about coping with the jet lag?
I have flown hundreds of times before and I am aware of the flight procedures, including meals, seatbelts, take offs, landings, etc. My main concern is that by the time I get to my final destination I will have traveled for 24 hours. I'm worried about what my body will do and how to cope during that time.
Try to get in an aisle seat so that it is easier to get up and go to the bathroom and so you have some room to stretch your legs. Get up and walk when you can, and stretch when you go to the bathroom. Its good to keep your blood flowing.
If you get heartburn, try getting milk when the drink cart goes by. That can help with heartburn. Make sure you sit up strait.
I just took a long military plane trip myself at 24 weeks. Good times.
Good luck!
The Music Man was one of the last great movie musicals from any studio, and it proved to be that rarest of events: a Broadway show that was measurably improved by its transition to the screen. Robert Preston made his musical debut--both live and on film--as "Professor" Harold Hill, the upbeat charlatan who promises to teach a small-town boys band by the "think system." But it's the part Preston wa...

Could I be pregnant...I used a condom and it was only one night?
I used a condom and it was only one night?
I know it's POSSIBLE. But what are the chances? I don't want to be pregnant but If I am then I would be about 22 days pregnant? I'm bloated after one week since that day and I've gained about 3 pounds because I do have food cravings. But this early? Is that possible. And I also feel fatigue and usually I am active. I feel like it but I've never been pregnant, so how exactly will I know? Are these symptoms too early ?
It's possible. About a 20% chance if the condom broke or sperm some other way got into you (ie, not using the condom at the beginning of sex). This is too early for signs...and most, if not all, signs are the same for preg and your period. Take a test on the 1st day after your period was expected and every other day there after. If you are, go to a doctor and discuss your options. Good luck!!!

immediately after havin sex wit my bf my vagina odor&texture changed. what could this b? could it b pregnancy?
immediately after having sex with my boyfriend my vagina started having a strong fishy smell and the texture went to a thick white texture. We did have unprotected sex that night. i was just wondering could anyone please help me with this. could it be that i am pregnant?
It could be the semen from your bf, but "usually" a "strong fishy smell" indicates a sign of infection.
"Fishy" is never good, a distinct, mild odor is ok.....See how long it lasts, and ask yourself, "Does it smell like it usually smells BEFORE having unprotected sex"? If not, get a check-up to rule out anything serious....
Good Luck!

8 Reasons Why You Have Feminine Odor Caused By Bacterial Vaginosis
Most vaginal odor and vaginal discharge is caused by an infection called "gardnerella" which causes bacterial vaginosis. While this infection can be passed between partners, it is not a sexually transmitted disease (STD). Bacterial Vaginosis (BV) is one of the leading causes of vaginal odor. This odor may become more pronounced after having intercourse and often has a fishy odor. This is the most ...

Another omnibus joins together two of Tom Holt`s popular fantasy stories. In Wish You Were Here, it’s a busy day on Lake Chicopee. But it was a mixed bunch of sightseers that had the strange local residents rubbing their hands with delight. But most promising of all, there was Wesley Higgins, the young man from Birmingham, who was there because he knew the legend of the ghost of Okeewana. All he had to do was immerse himself in the waters of the lake and he would find his heart’s desire. Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. In Djinn Rummy, we learn that in an aspirin bottle, nobody can hear you scream. Outside an aspirin bottle, however, things are somewhat different. And when Kayaguchiya Integrated Circuits III, a Force Twelve genie with an attitude, is released after 14 years of living with two dozen white tablets, there’s bound to be trouble.

I want to know what are some symptoms of high blood pressure during the third trimester of pregnancy? I am 35 weeks pregnant and today I woke up feeling really weak, bad headache, and diarreah (sorry tmi) I was telling my cousin who just had a baby and she suggested I go to the hospital just to make sure it's not high blood pressure....but I don't know, I don't want to go if I don't really need to. What where some of you're symptoms you had with high blood pressure?
Swelling (more than normal for pregnancy), especially in your hands or feet. Headache - but the feeling is like being hung upside down for a long time, like all the blood is rushing to your head. And also you might see little flashes of light in your perephrial vision.
I had high blood pressure through both of my prenancies, and the swelling and headache always accompanied a spike in my blood pressure - and the flashes of light were a sure sign that I needed to go to the hospital.
You can also just walk into your OB office and ask them to take your blood pressure, they will be happy to do that without an appointment.
